Studies find an added hour of gym weekly could cut number of overweight kids. One more hour a week of physical education for children aged 3-6 could translate into a 10 percent decrease in the number of overweight 5 and 6 year old girls worldwide.

Do your children spend more time inside playing video games, watching TV and computer games than playing outside? If so, you're not alone.
Children today are far more sedentary and the lack of physical activity and proper nutrition are causing obesity which leads to diabetes, high blood pressure and many other ailments.
Getting your children up and moving will improve their health now and install good health and fitness habits that will last a lifetime. Exercise videos are a great way to get your child up and moving. Many children are accustomed to sitting in front of the TV for hours on end; instead of fighting it turn TV into a source of exercise.
Exercise videos, DVDs and musical CDs can be a fantastic way to add fun to your child's day and they won't even know that they are actually "exercising".
